Classroom – School Project @Aruba
Our modular cabin span is 6 meters that is suitable welol to be combinedas classrooms. The following design is an outstanding work of classroom which combined with 4-cabins. The floor area is 72 square meters which can accommodate 50 students.
Container classroom is a good choice for temporary use when the permanent school facilities are upgraded. Classroom can be quickly completed during school holiday. After the new school building finished, these temporary classrooms can be moved to another school then another upgrade project can start.
The Education Department at Aruba Island planned to upgrade 6 schools in 3 years. These 64 units of 20ft Flat Pack Container had been combined to 16 classrooms. We helped them to complete this task at very low expenses. After the whole plan completed they can still use the cabins as storeroom or temporary office somewhere as they like.
SOUND INSULATION OF PREFAB SCHOOL BUILDINGS
The most important requirement for modular classroom is sound insulation. We increased the wall thickness to 75mm and kept the two container walls in between the classrooms which made sure that the classes will not be interfered with each other.
Aruba was the colony of Netherlands before and we tried our best so that the electrical system met the standard of Netherlands.
SHORT CONSTRUCTION PERIOD
Given a short construction time, Flat Pack Container help the builder to complete this impossible mission within two weeks.

OTHER SCHOOL PROJECTS
Besides overseas projects, FUUNZO also built many prefab school buildings within China as well. The below is a temporary classroom at Langfang, Hebei Province. For this project, 2-way roof is added to cabin to match with the existing building design.
In addition, Fuunzo helped Shaba Primary School to build students accommodation in GuiZhou Province, China.
The building is made from 4 cabins and sandwich panel. Cabin does not only provide private room, but also works as structure to support the slope roof truss.
